Well, I spent this whole week positively poring over the excruciating minutiae of cast and stamped metal products. Yes. My mind is a total blank.
Thank God for Andres “Drezz” Rodriguez, because he drew this spectacular page. I saw it, and I was completely blown away. But I probably should have suspected as much, since Drezz writes and draws a comic called El Cuervo, which routinely meets and exceeds this in quality. It’s quite simply spectacular work he does. El Cuervo is a very hard-edged crime drama about a contract killer named Eddie “El Cuervo” Vargas who’s on the outs with his employers – and be prepared, Drezz doesn’t pull any punches.
So there it is, folks! Another amazing guest page! This is really awesome.
And again I almost forgot – Vote To See What I Drew This Week!
Why WOULD you send a Rumbler along on this sort of mission? If the object of the exercise is to shift the UNA’s militaristic image, then why would you send along a 1000 Ton rolling slab of weapons and armour, who’s cheif reason for existing is to show off the UNA’s vast military power?
Politicians have a long history of doing stupid things with their militaries. Though it does make a kind of sense to combine a humanitarian mission with a major show of force.

Awesome page! I’ve been meaning to take a look at El Cuervo for some time. Hopefully this will push me to find the time to read it!
Definitely do so – it’s high on style and a really great comic!

Those treads! 😀
And Maj. Rucker looks just awesome in Drezz’s 2nd panel.
Yes, he captured the Major’s true badassitude. Rucker may seem like a soft guy in the story but when push comes to shove he toughens up but quick!

Rucker seems to be a bit grumpy, eh? The pulled him out of retirement for a milk and cookie run? Sucks to be him.
>>> Revamped page: Can’t wait to see this one in colour. MIKE looks really mighty and impressive now. Also nice work on the light armored troops next to the power armor squad. Nice touch of detail. I think once the dialogue and speech bubbles are added, the two top mini-panels will add even more dynamics to that scene.
I really loved the “someone dropped a pile of sheets because someone ran into him” scene in the old machine bay scene. You did that later again once Rucker snapped and lost it and stormed out the CiC. It’s such a nice clique scene. 😀
Drezz really did an amazing job. Captured the essence of Rucker just perfectly!

Your work is getting better and better! It’s an honor to see a great talent come into his own.
Maybe you could sketch up some silhouettes that I could use on a counter spread for you. I could create a counter sheet for you in a swag package! 🙂 Maybe even a few CRT dice. I am thinking about making a set of 25 of them with the CRT on them.
Well it’s all I can do to get the comic up to scratch these days but I’ll keep your offer in mind! The GEV you made with the Howler graphic looked terrific!

Thanks for the opportunity to contribute to this guest project. It was a ton of fun.
Not too often do I get to draw the African savannah. Also not the easiest thing to do in high contrast either. But it was a great escape from the usual urban met stuff I’ve been doing and it was an enjoyable escape. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of this side story takes shape!
You really went above and beyond, Drezz! I can’t thank you enough!
