The plot thickens, as they say. Why, by the way? Is it the soup metaphor? (Apologies to Wes Anderson, but I just saw The Grand Budapest Hotel)
Really rocky week. REALLY rocky week. But I made it through. It’s odd, sometimes having the comic to do on the weekend after a tough time can feel like a chore, but this time it was a welcome relief. I don’t really have anything else to say but that.
Oy vey. I’m going to bed. God willing, this week will look up a little bit. As an old poster I own says, “A positive attitude is your best defense against Communism.” I’m not sure if that applies. But hey, I’ll take it.
All the best, folks!
So MIKE contacted her before…
Interesting.
And glowing red eyes isn’t mike. Body looks Mike like though. Did one of M-1-E’s siblings come calling?
You know, maybe Collective stole the blueprints, and made their own Mike (possibly named Ivan)? 😀
Maybe it’s the etheral avatar of MIKE’s killa-kan buddies?
It’s the Terminator. 🙂
All good guesses. I neither confirm nor deny any of them, of course… 😉
Was that a 40k reference? If so, could you imagine a Badeblade with the personality of Mike?
Oh, Hi!. . . Major Bronniford mk.2!
This version is a Colonel in the Federate Army, though.
Those red eyes don’t bode well whatever they mean. Unless it is some kind of realistic drone extension of Mighty Mike that is.
… maybe?
“Hey sexy mama… Wanna kill all the humans…”
That comment made my week. 😀
Just don’t go on a Bender when you so.
*Looks at the red glowing eyes* ‘I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you’d like to hear it I can sing it for you.’
Can you sing “Far Far Away”? ;p
How about “Starman?”
I have the feeling she’s not going to like the answer to her question…
Not to hijack the thread, but here’s a couple of updates to my in-process MaK power armor build.

Nice work. Give him UNA markings and you’ll be my personal hero!
That’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility….the UNA seal would be the hard part. Right now I’m posing it at as a prototype “Mercenary” Reconnaissance/Surveillance/Target Acquisition suit.
And to put this part of the thread firmly in ditch, how well “realized” are your mecha designs, like the three Federate AI units? 3-view drawings, CAD? I would love to see Ilya, Dobrinya and Alesha as a kit by someone like these guys: https://industriamechanika.com/shop/14-Mecha And they have a love for Russian/Soviet themed subjects. Like this: https://industriamechanika.com/shop/air/36-red-star-47.html
I am impressed too. I’d like to see any of drawn specifications and plans for them. The inside for a human, etc. I like this. The milspecs I find interesting reading.
Do a search on the internet for “SF3D”, “Maschinen Krieger” or “MaK.” That’s the line that kit came from. It started as a SAFS-R (Super Armored Fighting Suit – Recon) or “Raccoon.” I’m doing some mods to it.
Oh shit Mike has a dark side.
We all do I guess… 😉
But Mike was built be humans, any sides he has are either programmed into him or part of “his” hardware. We are prone to anthropomorphize of machines and animals. Especially one that can talk and make decisions.
Captain Da Costa is still hotter.
You all know it’s true.
Well, Da Costa isn’t a communist. So she already has that going for her.
