Lesson learned: don’t screw with Sarah Bronniford. And especially don’t make remarks about her dad.
I have little to say this week. It was a real doozy, though. With the end of the chapter rapidly approaching, I’m just keeping my head down and sprinting for the finish!
All the best, folks!
Aahhh… That’s more like it.
Oh yeah. 🙂
I think I’m in love. 😉
Those who believe the Canadian is polite and docile creature have never been to a hockey game. If Sarah did not join the military, she would have a great career as a enforcer.
Amen to that. These national stereotypes are a big, steaming load!
The McCarthyism is strong in this one.
Well I won’t say more than this: “Not without good reason.” 😉
I think you accidentally did. You said the picture was her dad. And she’s beating him up because he’s a commie lover. That would imply that her dad is communist and they had a “falling out.” Or possibly he was caught for being a commie lover and since she isn’t she is overcompensating.
Did I say that?
That’s not how I read it. Dad was anti-communist and this punk is wearing a shirt with one on it. He smears her and also her dad as she reads it. So it is a family matter. Now make him cry!
Wham, bam stop hitting me mam!
Okay, this works too, and her eyes didn’t turn red, at least…
It looks as if she switched arms in panel 5 and back again in Panel 6 without losing her grip–impressive. ^^
Yeah when I drew it “right” it looked wrong. Weird, huh? So I figured she was pummeling him in between panels.
Well, that settles that…I guess. 🙂
What I want to do to every communist I ever meet.
Commies are for punching. I’m still Team DaCosta, but Sarah’s at least making her earn it!
