Man, my weeks keep getting longer and longer. So much so, in fact, that I can’t think of a single thing to write this week, to go with the comic. I got nothing, folks. But I’m sure I’ve done enough yakking to last most people here a lifetime, anyway. So I’ll just let the class go home early this week.
Next week, though… you better BELIEVE it!
Heh heh heh…
… parts missing… like Sarah’s eye? Wow, I betting we have a big reveal coming up.
But no rush, real life comes first and the last thing we need is you burning your self out 🙂
Yeah, it’s been a very busy summer. Which is good from the “earning a living” standpoint, but not so great from the “doing the comic” standpoint.
Mike… MIKE… What did you DO…?
😀
so, we’re finally going to know how Mike saved someone poisoned with deadly radiations… I wonder if that’ll explain Mike’s other new powers, like memory transfer and corridor illusions. I can’t wait, but I hope you won’t reveal too much, keep some mystery for the rest of the story 🙂
(also, small typo in Mike second sentence “By the time I foud Sarah”)
Good catch, I fixed it right away! Thanks for that!
And I like to think I’ll be revealing just wnough, but not too much. 😉
Giving a virtual intelligence the ability to modify or re-write it’s own core programming sounded like a bad idea in the first, secound, third and fourth place.
The example above proves why.
Still makes me wonder how the Killer Kans ascended to self-awareness? Or did MIKE just took control of them?
Either way it looks like MIKE is overwhelmed by too much conflicting information taken from people’s minds. The question remains:
Overwhelmed because of memory/ information overflow
OR
Overwhelemd because of ethical/ moral conflicts which his core-programming can’t guide him through?
😀
The plot thickens?
Curiouser and curiouser. One wonders if there are surprises hiding in Sara’s system.
On another note does mike possess anything resembling nanotech or is that outside of the realm of the available tech for him or the UNA companies? Just pondering vectors of repair.
Good point. I fear to speculate lest I give away the game, however!
I am totally afraid that MIKE just invented a cyborg or a sort of “FrankenSarah”. Dude, this is a lovely moment here. I cannot express how much I like MIKE’s dialogue in this page. I mean, he’s supposed to be a machine, but here he’s feeling guilt and/or shame? Nice touch.
😀
Poor Mike. The world is a mystery to him.
